    I needed a pair of snips to cut some sheet aluminum that was in a very tight spot. While it was material to be cut was soft, the tight quarters meant that using a standard pair of cheap aviation snips was entirely out of the question.

    I found these and ordered them. They came quickly. They are solid- they are the size of a medium-sized pair of scissors. The cutting edge is a bit serrated to "bite" the cutting surface and not slip, and they are sharp to the very tip (unlike the aforementioned aviation snips) so that you can cut in an extremely tight space.

    These did the trick perfectly. It was like cutting paper, and an accurate cut was possible in a very small space.

    Great tool but one significant flaw. The lock. First, the lock jams and is very hard to unlock. Second, the edges of the metal lock button are rough and sharp and can cut your skin. I have 3 of these pliers and even after polishing the edges for comfort and grinding the lock for better fit, they still are hard to unlock. Too bad they skimped on the lock. Will try the SK product.
